    Are they revoluta Steve.
Its strange how sometimes you get just the one leaf, and occasionally you get two.
I've germinated a couple of Dioon Spinulosum this year, and although they have germinated they've not produced any leaves yet, just a small crown :(

A friend sent me one of these - but I found the one or two leaves a year while the base grew fine, just a tad uninteresting. So after 6 years, gave up.

Maybe I was just not getting it right.

Fran, you gave up  [IMG] and after 6 yrs, what did you do with it? A six year old plant is just getting going.
Steve I've got an edule, grew three of them about 8 yrs ago. I kept them in my frost free greenhouse, but two of them rotted off one winter, I reckon they were too damp.
I now keep the remaining one a bit drier and warmer in winter.
