You are still young @Fat Controller and I'm glad you have decided to make those changes now because if you are that tired you won't be able to carry on much longer. You will see the benefit in years to come.

I know it is difficult to make big changes, I wish I had done so, but you must take the bull by the horns as they say and get on with it before it's too late. 'Time and tide wait for no-one'

I may start a separate thread at some stage in the coming weeks, rather than clutter this one - specifically experiences of others on campers/caravans and relocation.

Winter makes very little difference to the way we live. Our garden needs a lot of attention right through the year (it's just different attention :noidea:). Our hobbies go on through the year and I usually play bridge 5 - 7 times a week. I also help run some charities, and voluntary and business groups.

Re writing:- my writing was a bit different from that of some of you as I used to write guide books, but not any more. The last one was published in 2002.

The big difference for us now is that we no longer have the opportunity (due to Covid restrictions) to do our winter travels where we used to go to out of the way places to see the history, way of life and traditions of other peoples and to see the ancient sites and the natural beauty of the countries.

@Upsydaisy I shall attempt to do some quizzes in the winter (had forgotten all about them ) but I shall need to get my mind into gear for that. :rolleyespink:

We still tend our garden too during the daylight hours, as @shiney said it's just a case of doing different jobs . It's the long dark evenings that require more planning.:dbgrtmb:
