Not a great photo. I'll try to get a better one with my phone, if necessary - when I find it!
It looks like it might be shrubby. It's near a gaura runner but I don't think it's related.

    Edit.
I've cropped d it so you can see the one in asking about.u

A better photo would be great, @BB3, just to pin point if you are asking about the Japanese Knotweed on the left or perhaps about the sprouting Giant Hogweed just behind the Deadly Nightshade? ;)

      My favourite plants.
I'd better look for my phone and maybe do some more weeding

@Selleri . Had a closer look while I was preparing it for the photo. Dead daisylike flowers. Pretty sure it's erigeron K but thanks anyway for your useful advice. And I found my phone.

Dead, daisylike flowers? That’s Plantus neglectus @BB3 . It does sound and look like Erigeron, mine are all still green with faded flowers.

Definitely @Plantminded . It was hiding under something giganticus with big leaves and cream flowers.

This is my Erigeron K just now:

The foliage looks the same but yours is a tad leggier if I may say so

Will you prune your Erigeron this year @Selleri and @BB3 or leave it as it is? I usually take mine back to ground level but this year they are all bulked up with no sign of decline and I'm debating whether to leave them or whether they may be more floriferous if I cut them back as usual.

I'll leave mine, @Plantminded . It's on its first year in a makeshift alpine planter, and I'm hoping it will self seed between the paving slabs around. So unless it starts to look very untidy, I'll let it do exactly what it wants to do.

              It's a very nice plant :)

Definitely Erigeron K. I hacked back a load of it yesterday because it was growing where there are crocuses and dwarf daffs coming through and I want to be able to see them. The Erigeron is a bit of a thug here and self-seeds all over so it's no great loss if I've killed that particular patch of it. There's plenty more.
You might or might not have planted it there. It seems to put itself wherever it likes.

@Plantminded to be honest, I'm not keen on it. I'll do whatever is necessary - maybe. I prefer the daisies in my ' lawn"

I have to agree, @BB3. Despite loving daisy-like flowers, I have never had any desire to acquire an Erigeron. For some reason I can't explain, it just doesn't appeal.

It can look good in hanging baskets.

I always chop mine right back as they end up as straggly sticks in winter here.

Mine wandered in about twenty years ago and made itself at home in a drystone wall and gradually spread from there chunks get weeded out every year. Never been able to propagate it though it just self seeds.
Round here it's naturalised in places, against the bottom of walls, in dry stone walls anywhere there is a crack for a seed to get in.

It's ivy-leafed toadflax here. It'll grow in a bit of dust in a corner. I don't mind it.
I do mind, however, hairy bittercress. That'll grow in a bucket of dry sand or a bucket of water or all over my flowerbeds. That yellow oxalis, too:mute:
