Great stuff John I've been waiting for your indoor results:blue thumb:

Were they grown in a container in the GH or the border?...

Each one was in 40 litre container sunk into the greenhouse border, filled with Wickes MPC.

I noticed that all the spuds were in the top few inches of the compost. So next year I will make the grafts another 8 or 12 inches higher, then I can plant the potato part much deeper in the hope it will encourage more tubers to form lower down.

When I did mine I planted straight into the large container approx 6 inches from the bottom then earthed up till they reached the top then grafted onto the strongest looking shoots.I'm sure it would have worked better if I'd have got the heat and humidity right but it was difficult finding somewhere to house the container as I'd started early in cool conditions.I'll need to give it a re think next year and keep a clumsy brother off them:rolleyespink:
It's really interesting to see your progress John:dbgrtmb: looking forward to giving it another go:thumbsup:
