On tuesday morning of last week at 9.20am I had the sensation that someone or something was ever so gently stroking the back of my neck.I looked round but was on my own.

I kept it to my self thinking if I told Mr Kandy he would think I had lost my marbles.

Tonight on the TV on Deal or No Deal they were saying, that if you find a white feather,it means that the Angels are watching over you.

Guess what.Outside of the lounge window caught on my broom plant was a small white feather...how spooky is that.

The feather is now on my mantlepiece.

When our Penguin died (our black and white cat before the Skwij and Puschka, the white ones) I "saw" a white cat at the top of our steps just a few days beforehand and I said to t'other half that it had come to take Penguin away.

He was not amused by this but it happened. Then shortly after when someone I worked with said there were white farm cats that needed homes, t'other half said no way. We got the last two and they were with us for 13 and almost 15 years. Fate?

To follow on from this ...

When Puschka died in December (she was a real Poppy's girl) he said "I want a Calico" ...

you know the story, what have we got now? along with her lovely dinky bro Cal!

Everyone has got angels with them..some people call them spirit guides..sometimes its a close relation that has passed away helping you if you have problems..or sometimes they just come to visit if its an anniversary of a passing or someones birthday etc.sometimes animals visit just so they are not forgoton..Those that have passed away dont like to be forgoton they like you to keep their photo up ..or light a candle for them when its their birthday etc etc..

I think you are both right in the fact that animals that have passed on coming back to let their owners know that even though they are no longer with us,they can still be here even though they are in spirit only.

My Mum was a great believer in Spirit Guides, and hers was an Indian Chief called "White Eagle"

I think that my either my Mum,or my Spirit Guide was letting me know that they were close by,and new what was going to come about on Friday.

I have often felt a presence at differant times but have never felt distressed by it.

When I went up to bed one night a couple of weeks ago,I could smell the distinct aroma of the pipe tobbacco that my Dad used to smoke when he was alive.Perhaps he was just letting me know that he was close.....

If you are not remembering them or shut yourself off ..they will try to contact you via smell or touch..tobbacco smell is a favourite..perfume and flower smells another..
If you think you saw something out of the corner of your eye ..you did..Their is nothing to be frightend of its only the idiots that dabble and raise evil/dark energys that have something to be scared of..like attracts like..
we have all seen my last dog in different parts of the house..and sometimes you may notice your dog or cat really staring hard at what you think is nothing..well its spirit come to visit and animals are very aware and can see them..

spiders are symbolic The native red indians believed this about spiders..
...her webs bind all things together and form the foundation of the Earth. Still other stories talk of Spider as the weaver of the threads of life. Spider's gift is the ability to shape the patterns of one's life. If Spider has walked into your awareness, it is a reminder that a person's Earth walk should be like a web, balanced and even and cohesive, made according to the design that Creator has given us. Watch the Weaver and see where your life has gaps and snags, and rebuild the web of your life.

Gloria Hunniford has a lot to say about Angels and white feathers in connection with the illness and tragic death of her lovely daughter, Karen Keating. Sceptics will say that finding white feathers is just coincidence and they are from birds. But if you think about it - very few birds except swans actually have white feathers.

If we are honest, we all know that animals see much more than we do and we surely can all recall places where pet dogs simply refused to go. I'll not say more on this forum...

My dog came back to see me. He woke me up a couple of nights after he died, crying by my bedside. I woke and stroked him, but as I was doing it realised I couldn't actually feel him. The strange thing was, he was old when he died. Thick fur, old eyes, but when I saw him that night he looked like a young dog again. I wasn't frightened at all, I know he'd come back to let me know he was OK. I was 18 when he died, had him since I was 5. He'd been a huge part of my life.

That's a lovely storey, Sheppy! [IMG] I've heard similar before ... that they are just letting you know they are okay and also that they look young again! I wonder if it will happen to us?

In a seance many years ago, my mother (who had died about 20 years earlier) walked across the room and held out her hand to me! I must admit I shreiked and the chain was broken. I know it was a peaceful vision saying she was alright but it was so frightening. I never went to a seance again!
