Has anybody got any idea what this is in our front lawn? These orange things seem to be spreading (especially when it's sunny) and we've got a ten year old who loves picking grass so I'm worried that he's going to be poisoned by whatever this is?

I've done a bit more research and, for anybody who may want to know, the fungus is a 'fairy club fungus' called clavulinopsis luteoalba. Now I just have to find out what to do about it - none of the websites that identify it give any suggestions as to how to get rid of it - any ideas gratefully received
