Don't need the cold frame at this time of year

      @*Potash* I've never come across a solar drier before. I'm guessing by the name that it dries stuff using the sun?

      Care to shed some light on what you're using it for? :biggrin:

        Now that polytunnels are so cheap, I've abandoned coldframes in favour of them (also much more comfortable to sit in when it's raining).

          :biggrin: Yep, using it to dry tomatoes, and later apple rings.

          Vented at the bottom and the top wedged open with a stick so it has an air flow thru it :)
