I put some peach stones in a pot two years ago, one germinated last year and one germinated this year.
Nature doesn't work fast, always, but it usually gets there in the end.

I'd not de stone the seed, but put it out over winter to stratify.

I have a really good book. Somewhere called 'the pip book'. It's all about growing plants from kitchen fruit and veg. Really informative if you can find a copy. Best things I grew was a Lychee Tree and a small Date Palm!

                  Hi "M",

Do you fancy having a competition?

You plant a couple of stones and I will and we'll see how we go.

See who can get the biggest :)
