    I enjoyed the film and started the book 3 times - then total defeat and surrender :ntwrth:

    Yes the Studio Ghibli films will appeal to the younger generation more, I've only ever sat and watched them with my son. Mrs JWK liked them too though!

    I have, this moment been given 3 D.V.D'S. i have not viewed them yet, so i cannot comment on them.
    their title's are >> Centurion ?, Inception ?, Robin Hood ?. dont know the actors/plots/ whatever, as they are just freshly purchased :D. music :cool:.

    I didn't even like the film, even though Omar Sharif is in it, very dragged out, far too long, wouldn't want to watch it again so I def. won't bother with the book!!!!!

    Thinking about what I did enjoy -
    The Commitments - so funny, and the soundtrack was great too !
    Angela's Ashes - enjoyed the film and the book even more.
    Don't bother with the sequel - 'Tis. That's bin material .
