a man get stranded on an unknown island. all he sees are rocks and sand. after a couple of days he realises he will starve if he doesn't eat so sets off to explore the rest of the island.

On the other side he finds really lush vegitation, fruit & lots of things to eat.

When he is rescued they ask him what he would like to name the island & he says 'E'.

When asked why he says because it is the difference in words, between eating nothing & having plenty to eat.

    What is the word?

    cheers

No LOL. He actually names the island the letter 'E'. this letter changes a word from one meaning 'having nothing to eat' to a word meaning 'having plentty to eat'.

Sorry if i didn't explain properly.

Had me foxed. But then i'm not overly bright, but i do love words.

    cheers
