    Today's little bonus for me was my heated windscreen and heated seat on the journey to work this morning...... it is the little things in life that please me.

      And today's bonus was seeing the snow - I missed it last year, and I like snow. Don't like going anywhere in it, but it is nice to look out the window and see everything white and clean.

        No snow here @Fat Controller.. Have you had much.? Like you I love to look at it and I like to walk when it is snowing as I love that special silence you get when its snowing.. :thumbsup:

          Not a lot, but it came down quite fast - we went into the wee Tesco for a cauliflower and some bread, and there was none on the car when we went in...... by the time we got out, the car was white. No more than an inch or so, but still nice to see.

          I don't usually mind driving in it, as I am quite used to it thanks to my Scottish upbringing - my problem now is that I have a car that is like Bambi in the snow.... rear wheel drive being fed by nearly 300bhp is not a recipe you want in snow.

            Cant stand snow, it stops me getting around. is cold and wet, really hate the stuff.
            Give me 30C anytime rather than snow.

            Getting to work is a real pain in snow, everything just grinds to a halt.:smile:

                                It was a horrible, cold, wet day here, so I got cracking and did my confit de canard preserves. (Duck legs roasted then preserved in duck fat in Kilner jars and sterilised). A lovely, warm, comforting job to do indoors! And labelling and arranging in the storeroom will be a bonus tomorrow :)
