          There's already loads of 'blight resistant' tomatoes, some of them non-F1s like Koralik so inexpensive to save seeds from. The one in the link is is claimed to be the first completely blight-resistant tomato. Will we get our money back if it succumbs?

            Think I'll wait a few years, until proper testing (growing) has been done, seeds are more readily available (cheaper) and better taste tests completed (eating).

            "Tomatoey" flavour does not work for me.
