I have 2 large fish (ghost koi, I think) in my pond. Can any one suggest what I can do
    with them?

I have, in the past, successfully rehomed some goldfish through my local Freecycle group - in theory that doesn't accept listings for live animals, in practice one of the moderators knew someone with a large garden pond....

Or maybe you could put a card up in a local petshop? Or reach out to a Koi enthusiasts group?

Do you have a local Koi Carp Club ,if so someone is sure to take them off your hands.
My Dad was a member of this one.
