I know how you feel, to be honest there's a plant in my garden I'm battling as well but right now it's name escapes me......ohhhh for a younger brain! :)

I thought I would post this here instead of starting a new thread, my garden was seeded last year and the only thing ive planted in the border apart from conifers is the packet bulbs from Morrison's,

While in the garden yesterday I noticed a few of the below growing, I removed a few then thought are they something ive planted, are they weeds, any ideas please.

Martin, it seems to be a bit early in its growth to be able to be identified. Although someone who may have them in their garden might, possibly, recognise it. :)

Don't you have the pink variety as well? longk might be able to supply you with them :heehee:

I like them but need to keep them under control. So I filled a wheelie bin with them last week. :blue thumb:

Well, I had a saunter around the garden today and found that the Celandines were back again in great numbers around the Acer Brilliantissimum, the bottom border and the pond area even though I had taken the Hoe to them last year. So tomorrow I'll take up the Hoe again and take them back to a few small patches. They appear to be much more invasive than Forget-me-nots.:dunno::coffee:

Yes..far worse than Forget -me- nots.
The only blessing is than in a few weeks the leaves will wither away for another year.
            Hand weeding doesn't work either
Just one minute bulbil left in the soil will give rise to next years plant.
I gave up trying to get rid of them.
