I've only just seen this thread, so a bit late.

I have a ProCook Essential frying pan that is somewhere between fifteen and twenty years old, bought new for a tenner in a sale. It's a solid, large pan that doesn't do much frying now but I still use it for cooking curries etc. It handles a meal for four easily. The non stick surface is now starting to show signs of age but no signs of it breaking up. I don't know whether they can be used in an oven.

Nice looking stuff @Sheal, but expensive - you did well getting one for a tenner!

I know it's too late now, but for anyone else who looks at this thread - you can't go wrong with Scoville Neverstick cookware. The non stick coating is so good - you can cook a full English without any oil at all. It cleans with a no effort wipe over.

The added bonus is that the pans are made in the UK.

Oddly enough, they were the other ones that I looked at, Robert Dyas again I think, but didn't recognise the name - hopefully I will remember it if I ever end up here again. :)

My pan has a better finish on the outside than those advertised now, but quality these days isn't a patch on what it used to be.
