    Hi Marley sorry it took so long but I have narrowed it down to a few Possibles The difficulty being with all photos we don't get the true colours
    that's my excuse but do any of these ring a bell.
    1.Alec's Red (45 Petals)1970 2.Fishermens Friend (60 petals)The Children in Need Rose. 3.Ingrid Bergman 1985.
    4.Loving Memory (40 petals)1981. 5.Ruskin (50 petals)
    6.A favourite of mine Ruby wedding (44 petals)1979
    7.Royal William (35 Petals)1984. If not we will try again.:thumb::)

    :thumb: Woo you are a shining star..!:thumb::( Oh dear Woo, I want to say it is several of those names, but somehow I don't think so. :thumb: I have counted the petals.... There are.... Wait for it..!! 77....!!!!!:eek::D:D I would say all the blooms have about that many too when they come out..:)... Sooooo Does that help any... I could send you some petals if you like if that would help...???:confused::)

    I never knew one had to know how many petals on a rose to know what it was.
    Thanks.

    I'm going to try to see if I can identify one I have in my front garden. A friend said it might be called strawberries and cream because the petals are speckled red & white, but I guess armed with the description and the no. of petals I should hopefully be able to identify it.
