Just watched this Logan..Brilliant...:wub2: I must give that a go with my Archie..he loves sausages in fact I'm sure he thinks the fridge is a sausage machine because when he sits there with his nose pushed up to the fridge door he knows he's going to get a sausage.

Thank you Victoria, they're a lovely breed.

Our dog trainer said that they're hopeless for retrieving things, but if they're trained properly they will. Two of the breeders that we had ours from used them for retrieving game, but they have to be taught at a early age with a stuffed pheasant wing.

I adore Goldies too (incase you hadn't guessed)...All my 3 boys were from working stock. My first boy did the training but was too chilled out to be bothered:heehee:
Where as Archi and Theo we're over enthusiastic ..(lost Theo at 6 years of age to AIHA (So cruel) but they worked as a team...it was amazing to see them together it was as if they were silently communicating their plan of action..Theo would go one way and Archi the other and they'd cut the game off in the middle.Several times I've had to get a flapping stoggie out of Archies mouth (always unharmed) but trying to explain to him that they are supposed to be shot first seemed to go right over his head..
Beautiful Pups that grow into the most handsome of Dogs.I adore them:wub2:
