    Here goes .... My GP surgery has a ' sensory' garden behind. I picked up 2 healthy looking plants and can't fid the name anywhere :scratch: , These are the names
    Lysteria £2.00 and Pakcmon 75p.... can anyone through any light on them. They are just leaves at the moment ..:old:

      Well it was at the docs surgery,;)

      If there are any in your area they normally self seed and can flower first year with a bit of care.
      The birds spread the seed, I get them coming up in all kinds of places, even cracks in concrete.

          I though the pak thing was a veg ? They are all grown with people with ' health' issues

          If, as Silver Surfer says, it is in fact Pak Choi, then yes, it is a vegetable and used in Asian dishes. :)

          You have a very healthy plant there!
          LEYCESTERIA formosa... common name Himalayan honeysuckle./Pheasant berry.etc
          You will notice that the young juvenile leaves are a completely different shape to those of the adult plant.

            That's a bargain GG, which Dr's is that at? I'm in Guidlford too (Near the University) and wanted to grow Leycesteria formosa this year, was going to buy a packet of seeds but for £2 for a healthy plant you've done well.
