you need to be out at dusk with a container of salted water to collect the slugs and snails and watch them turn to pulp.My problem is red ants I keep thinking Ive drowned them then they appear again.

Hi Meggie, you are my mum aren't you ?
I don't think it would be a very good thing to tell these people that Dad cuts the slugs up or spikes them on a nail would it?

P.S. Do I get any bonuses or anthing for recommending a friend/parent?

See above, didn't Dad also suggest zapping slugs with a strong salt water solution in a pump action super soaker water pistol?!!!

Yes I am thank you for recommnending this web site what fun. But dad has abandoned the waterpistol when small grandson wanted it back!!!
On a more serious not where can i get nematodes? As I work with children in my garden the solution to my slug problem must be child friendly and not leave gruesome remains like salt does.I also have dogs and cats.
    Thanks again for the fun

We are a delightful family (honestly) and we are always kind to all plants and animals APART from slugs!

God, I have just been on the Defenders website and I thought my dad was bad cutting the slugs up, nematodes are a lot worse!
