Hi, Ive started growing chillis in trays and they are almost ready to transport into pots/ ground. I was wondering how much watering people give them as I have experimented with watering from the bottom up and watering from the top with varied success??
Any help would be most great full for.

    Thanks Brett

I'm no expert but bottom watering would be my preference, I wait till the compost looks dry on the surface as I understand they don't like sitting in soggy compost.

Might get more expert advice posting this in the Chilli Thread:

My chillies are in pot resting on the greenhouse floor without saucers and I water from the top when needed and let it drain through. That way they are not sitting in water.
