    Hi

Some of you may have seen my previous thread where i require 150+ plants for my new garden design.I have mailed around for quotes and some prices are in the £1000's !!

Anyway i have managed to find most of the plants in plug form and reading up on them they are vigorous/easy to grow on, plus the price is much cheaper...

I am not in any rush and want to complete next year. Is it ok to purchase a majority in plug form now and pot them on and keep them in a small lean to/plastic type green house ?

Will they be ok through winter, when can i plant them out or just keep them in ots for next year ?

    Any ideas

Hmmm ... I think I would be more inclined to get them next Spring. Cold and Damp, and small plants, could easily give you significant losses.

Some of them may be Autumn delivery anyway, in which case fine. But good luck trying to work out what will be delivered when if you are using a site like van meuwen (their plants have been OK, but the communication is less so ... saved me plenty of money, overall, though)
