    Hi everyone.

There's a load of moss on my garage roof and these things have recently popped up. Does anyone know what they are? I'm really new to gardening. Thanks in advance.

I think it might be some kind of Sedum, but which one I wouldn't know.

      Thanks Pete.

You are right, it is some sort of sedum. With that ID I went searching. I found a youtube video and a shot of my one came up at the 32 second mark.

I guess I'll have to start cultivating them.

I've got some on my shed roof, different to yours, they like the old asbestos corrugated stuff.

I've also got semperviviums planted on the roof.

I was going to take them down but maybe I'll leave them alone now.

The only problem is that Magpies keep picking at the moss they are rooting in. Looking for insect larvae I suppose.
