I cant remember the variety but as i gathered from various planters im expecting all sorts of colours to pop up . Ive still got more than half of last years seeds till to go. Doubt i will ever buy pansies again after finding it so easy to grow them from seed. But maybe it was a one off and just luck . :)

WeeTam - mine are at about the same stage as yours. Haven't counted mine but I guess I only have about 90 or so. :)

Not bad though, once they get going there's no stopping them (although if they were in my garden the slugs and snails would have eaten them all by now).

Mine are putting on a good show, never managed to find time to move the yellow ones around.

Very nice indeed, well done. :)

You should see my pansies, most of them look like they are made of lace (and that's despite me going out every night and killing, on average per night, 30 slugs and a few snails).

Ah ha! :) I don't like to use slug pellets though as I have dogs, and even the "pet friendly" ones have cautions about dogs eating them ............

Yes you have to be careful if you pets, i don't have pets and its impossible for hedgehogs to get in my garden now unless they can jump 6ft +,

Rats have been eating them though but i am not concerned about that.

So now your garden is a prime feeding spot for rats? ;) ;)

                  I kid. :)

Lol, its one certain corner, the pellets kept going missing, i was concerned it was birds so i set a camera up to monitor what it was, it turned out to be rats, they had made a run under the fence,

I blocked it up and they dug another so ive blocked that one up, it looks like they have given up :) all's been well for over a week,

But yes if they get in its prime feeding spot if you like slug pellets :loll:.

The rats will be vaulting over the fence next. ;)

Pleased to hear that you've got rid of them though - I'm surrounded by fields but slugs are by far my worst problem.
