    I am sure you had a memorable time at The Packhorse (you know how to live) funnily enough we have never been BUT Mrs.Roders is having her works Christmas Party there so looking forward to that.

        I hope Mrs Roders enjoys it as much as I did, the athmosphere was fantastic! I thought it was really reasonable for what we had & the staff were very attentive, we never had to wait for the table to be cleared, the food turned up hot, polite staff, very clean & well presented food.......I almost forgot the fizz was lovely too!! :Wino: I'd certainly go back again :dbgrtmb:

          Another nice place to go, in the opposite direction, is Milsoms at Dedham. Good food, good service, very nice setting with a nice garden and a very impressive giant redwood just outside the restaurant.

          It's the same company as The Talbooth round the corner but not as posh or expensive. The Talbooth is on the riverside in a lovely setting.
