How do you all manage to stay up so late? Are you all youngsters? Now that I have got back to my proper body clock I wake up before six but find at the end of the day I am tired by about ten.For me to get into bed after eleven is a rarity unless of course I have been babysitting and then it is later. Can you all tell me the secret besides matchsicks please:thumb:

Hi Kandy,I cant go to bed to early, as I only sleep about 5-6 hours a night, maybe 7 in the winter. In my late teens and 20's I could sleep for England. Strange is'nt it?

Oh O2, age is showing:) I was told i used to never sleep as a baby, slept for England like you in my young years, now can do the same!! I like to have about 10 hours! My husband can't believe how long i can go - asleep that is!

That's why you never see me at night on here usually. I'm asleep!

    cheers

As soon as the light nights arrive borrowers I'm up with the birds so to speak. I'm affected by the different seasons. I suffer terribly from SAD in the winter months.:( It makes me plain miserable and all I want to do is hibernate. So heres to a lovely summer.:thumb:

It's all to do with levels of light. I definitely get up a lot earlier in summer than winter for that very reason. At the mo, I'm up somewhere between 7am and 8am, but in the winter it's more like between 8am and 9am. One can get so much done in the mornings.

O2 Some of us are in bed by 10-10.30:) I find that after a day of either working in the house, garden or allotment I am ready for bed by then.My hubby's sister, husband and kids do nothing in their house garden or on the allotment and try to do as little as possible at work either so can stay up until the early hours of the morning because they havn't used up their energy levels during the day time.

I would arther go to bed early and then get up when it is nice and light like now and then I can get out in the garden and gets lots done before everyone else stirs.Mr Kandy doesn't get up until 7 o'clock on a weeekend so I have already got lots done by the time he surfaces:thumb:
