Hi there. Can anyone help identify this plant please? It produces gorgeous tiny blue flowers with a yellow centre. As you can see it's not looking too good at the moment and I've forgotten what it is and lost the label:scratch:. Any help would be much appreciated :spinning: 20190226_112022.jpg

Hmm! Felicia comes from South Africa....
Quote wiki...."usually perennial, evergreen plant, in the daisy family. It can be found along the southern coast of South Africa."
Would it be hardy in Yorkshire?

Need to see good close up of the leaves.

I realise this doesn't fit 100%.."gorgeous tiny blue flowers with a yellow centre."
But there are very few evergreen shrubs with blue flowers so this is just a thought. ...Lithodora.

I appreciate Felicia comes from South Africa but I bought some in the UK, also Brachyscome (Swan River Daisy) which was my other thought.

Oooh... I just love Brachycome.....gorgeous plant.
But even in our South Wales garden it wouldn't over winter and was def not evergreen.

        Quote Crocus.....
        Brachyscome multifida
This slightly tender perennial with pretty flowers and finely divided foliage can also be overwintered successfully somewhere the temperature doesn't fall below 5°C. Before the temperatures get too low in early autumn, either pot-up plants individually and place them on the windowsill of a cool room, or under the staging in a heated conservatory or greenhouse. In milder areas you might get away with overwintering plants in a well-insulated coldframe or greenhouse. You can also take cuttings now as insurance if they are kept at a minimum temperature of 7°C.

        Hiya eddybaby :)
Late to this thread but this could be Felicia amelloides. It is a hardy evergreen down here although I treat it as an annual via cuttings:) A low growing ground covering plant and hardly ever out of flower from spring to autumn. Quite eye catching delightful blue flowers:)

eddybaby many thanks for new pic to show the leaves.
Your image ..turned and full size.
I have been working on this and struggling.
Your leaves are very neat, narrow with a point.
To me they don't look a match to the opposite leaves of Felicia. see....

Maybe we will need to wait for the flowers to be sureas to exactly what it is.

pinch them back I will allow one to flower so you compare:)

Hi Verdun, yes that name rings a bell. Thanks. As you may see from original post and picture last week part of it has dried out/died but now I know its name Ill research to see how I can revive it.
BTW way did you see my queries in my reply to your answer regarding my young apple tree?

Hiya eddybaby, yes that’s it :)
I too like to grow it in groups to make a widespreading feature. Does well in containers too
                The apple tree??...not sure. I’ll have a look :)

                Err!
We seem to be going round in circles here.
Victoria suggested this a week ago!

Do please add pics to this thread when you have flowers.

Verdun lives way down south in mild Cornwall.
West Yorkshire is another climate zone.
