    Having a bit of a problem with one. I bought it last year, early autumn and have since moved it three times (yes, I know silly, but it was another impulse buy). It's now been in it's current location for four months, has plenty of foliage but a distinct lack of any blooms. It is slightly overshadowed, but not greatly and is free draining soil. What else can I do to get blooms, or is it a hopeless case for this year? The others I have are starting to produce blooms, which I greatly look forward to.

    Oh yes, the variety is Stella D'Oro.

    Just in the process of throwing all our early flowering ones in the bin. We have got Hemerocallis gall mite and they destroy the flower buds on the early ones. Worse pest than Lily beetles as there is no known cure other than removing the plants and not growing them for many years.
    Certainly disturbing the plants would prevent flowering.

    I planted mine last Autumn/Winter and they look rather sorry for themselves .... and I've never seen a flower so I don't even know what colour I have. :scratch:

    I bought them as a strappy pot plant knowing I knew the name but couldn't remember what they were ... I have these 'senior' moments .... that or it's the sun that gets to me ... :hehe:

    Nah, it's just your age:hehe::wink:

    I think moving them didn't help with me, plus the slugs have been a bit evil this Spring.
