Excited by 15 minutes of rain last night, I've just checked the long range weather forecast for my bit of deepest, darkest Kent. The only rainfall predicted between now and Sunday 29th May, is between midnight and 06.00 hrs on Monday 23rd, when there could be as much as ...... 5.5 mm.

Wickes opens in about 20 minutes, do you think I need to get down there, get the wood and start building the ark now - before the rush? :fingerdrum:

Give me rain, lots of rain

    .

It has been trying all morning, but just spits and spots, worse luck!

My neighbour has just come in and said there is a deludge 6 miles away when he was in a garden centre!

Have been carrying water to the plot trying to keep my strawberries alive.

This is the first time for about 3 years that I have had to carry water there!

Will have to get my wife to get her broomstick out, and me do a rain dance with my war paint on!

    Cheers.
