    where can I buy of hoe with a triangular shaped base of about 45-50 cm lenght from handle to base?

    hoe mbase?

    check google shopping link aswell if places like homebase or B&Q dont have the size you want

    or buy one with the standard length handle and chop the handle to the correct length?

      it is actually for me because I don't like to handle big and heavy tools.

      I have one right now (which I "imported" from Italy just because I couldn't find any), but had it for so long that I don't think it will last much longer...

      Ahh,

      Just saw the end off a longer one, then you can sharpen the offcut to make a Leek Dibbler.

        But an afterthought, are you going to use it for making seed drills? I get down on a kneeling pad and use an old traingular paint stripper tool (you've got get down there anyway to sow the seeds):
