    My location is Plymouth.

I have tried to add this to my information and avatar but don't know how.

I thought, if possible, I would rotate flowers and shrubs in the summer at the front of my home in large pots - for palms in the winter to give an all year round pleasant view.

Should I mention that I bought a greenhouse a few weeks ago and had fun in the sunshine putting it together for three glorious days.

Well done @potted ! You'll be able to bring on plants well in there. Yes rotation is a good idea, but you may need to allow a "messy" space at the end of the garden for the out of season pots to hide.
How about a couple of tomatoes in the greenhouse?

      Thank you.

A couple of tomatoes would be nice, ha ha.

I remember growing them for fun when I was just a child ‘about 12 years old!’,…. I think they were called ‘Money Maker’.

In my keenness to get started with plants I recently bought what I thought would look nice, but really I don’t have a clue; I thought trailing Wisteria, Begonias, and Petunias for the hanging baskets; Rhododendrons, Azalea's and Hosta's for big pots; and some palms in big pots for the winter display,

Please have a look in my greenhouse and see, there is not much there but it is a start.

If there are better choices please just say.
