    Actually, in the summer I always turned down the heat so that it was a bit below body temperature. It was one of the older ones but it used chlorine instead of bromine ( I believe now they are salt?) so I could slightly up the chlorine when the water was cooler. The jets in it were extremely strong if turned up to full so the water got well aerated.

    I always drained and cleaned and refilled the tub every spring and late fall plus I would do it again mid summer just to be on the safe side.

    My grandchildren were toddlers back then (no diapers) and it was like having a little pool to play :)

                    When I first noticed Mr. Peepers, I waved at him. The stupid git was standing at an upper story window, had the lights out in the room but the hall lights behind him clearly showed him in the perfect stance for holding binoculars - so I waved at him and blew a kiss.                               There's another great thing about hot tubs. It is anti aging. Everything floats. Wrinkles no longer weigh you down ..:biggrin:
