Houseplant ID please

It seems happy on a shady window sill. I thought it was a philodendron when I bought it but it doesn't seem to want to trail

 

Google suggests -

The plant in the image is a Peperomia obtusifolia, also known as a Baby Rubber Plant

No idea if that's correct..

Has a look @Pete8 . The leaves look a bit too round but I think you're on the right lines with peperomia.
Apparently, there's about a thousand varieties!

 

That should keep you occupied during the long winter nights ahead

You could just call it Dave - it looks like a Dave to me
