I used to decorate during the winter until I realised, come springtime and better light levels, how much I'd missed :gaah: As for the highest interior wall, at 5m it gets a hard stare and a 'no, not this year, it still looks OK to me'

Our lounge, foyer and both bedrooms have 5m ceilings to one wall (to the pitch in the roof) ... so I know what you mean. All but the lounge have Eucalyptus beams so it breaks up the mass of ceiling.

Fading eyesight can be a blessing at times :heehee: One of our walls is almost 7m and is undoubtedly in need of refreshing, but I can see the flaws!.

A few years ago I tried to be paint the kitchen ceiling after we had the replacement windows. But the ceiling was so damp from the cold that the paint just wouldn't stick, it was dripping all over. So I had to wait a bit until the weather was a bit warmer. In the winter paint takes longer to dry but it's the only time that I could do it. So it doesn't get done regularly if at all.

Ok finished the last for this year's tree decs and decided on giving Rudolf ( mk2...hopefully looking less pig like, from a pattern but I didn't like the nose) and Kevin The Carrot (my own design) to our 2 adorable great nephews to add to their collection.

Lovely are great Upsy. I love Kevin the Carrot ... we watch all his commercials ... as adults do! Well done.

PS All these things should be in our hobby section too for future reference. ;)
