Surely your hubs won't mind, he should be proud.

If not go onto the computer when he's not looking, then delete your history afterwards. But I bet he wouldn't say anything really, why would he?

                    Oh please @Logan do try!

The Teenager tells me there is such a thing a s a cloud and I even managed to record a video on my phone and upload it to my computer using the said "cloud" thing. The actual video was way too big a file to move around but the clouding did the job.

Looking forward to hear your singing a lovely song. Thanks for sharing. :)

I used to play in various folk music bands in my youth, after the wars. One of my most favourite tasks was to play the triangle, or in this case, The Triangle. The instrument was hand made by a suitably bearded and grubby ancient blacksmith who made them to order in the required key.

It was a pleasure to hold such a large, heavy hand made object, carefully do your "ding" at the right time, then select the correct one for the next "ding" to come.

I may regret a thing or two in my youth but Triangle playing is the one to carry me on towards the retirement haven. A commonly neglected artform, but I do believe the ding does make a difference.

                          Ding!

I was thinking about looking into my family tree back ground. But due to being so busy I took the quicker option. So, I announced on social media I had won the lottery, now I have relatives from everywhere.:loll:

Retirement brings the opportunity to read, although I am still infected by the dratted Protestant Work Ethic which has bedevilled my existence since I was a pup.
When I can settle to read it´s often something related to a book I discovered in the early Eighties, Fritjof Capra´s The Tao of Physics, which has never been far from my mind since.
He charts the similarities between Quantum Physics and ancient "myths" such as we find in the Vedas and many other ancient writings. In other words, we are "discovering" things we used to know but have forgotten. For example, the ancient Sumerians knew of the existence of Pluto, which we "discovered " somewhere in the Thirties I believe.

The Antikythera Mechanism and the Piri Reis map blow massive holes in the accepted history of humanity, yet their implications are studiously ignored.

We find, in the primitive remains of Egyptian households, beautiful vases made of incredibly hard stone, to a degree of perfection we could not achieve today -- and Gobekli Tepe in Turkey overturns the entire academic explanation of our history.
But still Academe clings to the wreckage.

It was agreed in archeological circles that the Clovis Culture represented the earliest example of human life. This meant that funding was unavailable for any research previous to around 13,500 years BC.
Maverick archeologists however have been finding evidence of civilisation 100,000 years previous to that, but several leading academics will have to turn up their respective toes before that revelation is allowed to emerge.

Our ancient history is far removed from actual reality, but funding grants for research, previous mistaken conclusions and respected reputations all rest on resisting any new data which undermines the current status quo.
Technology is very persuasive regarding the quality of science, but on the theoretical side there are huge weaknesses which to my mind resemble the claims of religion.
