    Hi,

I'm about to prune back a sage bush that we inherited when we moved here four years ago. It doesnt look that great. I understand that you should take a cutting and replace the bush with the cutting.

Now the problem is I've never taken a cutting in my life!!! :dh:

    So what do I do?

    Regs,

Yes, I know, this link says 'rosemary' cuttings, but the method for taking all 'semi-ripe' cuttings (which is what you're after) is exactly the same and thus I chose this link purely because it gives you a 'step-by-step' with attendant photos.

It's really not difficult and once you've done it, you'll be round your garden taking cuttings of anything and everything - it is extremely satisfying (and addictive)!
