How to take care of cypress plants sold as mini Christmas trees

    Hi, Y'all. A friend of mine ( not a gardener) bought two little cypress plants sold as mini Christmas trees and ask me what care was needed to keep them alive. I'm not familiar with these, so I'm posting for her: does she put them outside now? Keep them in the house? Plant them outside in the spring? Thanks for your help.

    Need a picture really, but guess a sheltered spot outside would be best, without knowing exactly what they are.
