    Gail, a PG called Bombshell I planted last year. I wanted to try out a small version of limelight with a collection of perennials already there. Yes, the PG's are more cone shaped.
    Also have Macrophylla Dove.....grows and flowers like PG's......:)

      That's why I asked Verdun as the cones look so unusual to seeing the normal round shapes and the Macrophylla Dove you have...the one in the back garden flowers similar, so when it does flower you'll most likely be able to identify if for me that's if you don't mind :)
