    Hi John and imp.

I'm still convinced it's the S rantonnetii "White Charles" as in the link I gave above.

I think the flower you have chosen to do a close up on, imp, has been tattered by the wind or rain perhaps? If you look back at your other photos there are "round" flowers in both pictures. The flower does not actually have five individual petals, John, they are joined to form a circle so you need to go look at one of your round flowers, imp. [IMG]

Here's a picture of mine this morning in hazy sunshine ...

I have trained it into a tree and it is about 8 feet tall now, having been drastically cut back in the summer.

Interesting isn't it? I am just logging off so will have another look in the cold light of day tomorrow.

(I just had a row with a guy from the council and need to calm down).

Good job that, with most peeps on this forum, disagreement is just a friendly different view. But as a group I think, from my short membership, the forum usually gets there.

IP. Thanks for those extra photies. Best yet. :D

If the flowers and the leaves on the two plants are indeed identical, then LoL's hypothesis is probably correct. I wasn't putting forward an alternative to be bloody minded, just for further consideration. ;) [IMG]
