Still on the carbon dioxide kick. You can buy as many bottles of beer, cola and fizzy drinks as you like but you mustn't open them. :nonofinger: If you do then you're releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. :yikes:

Funny thing is, last year at this time they announced a carbon dioxide shortage, and there was almost panic in the shops.:biggrin::biggrin:

I agree but boy is it fun to cook bacon in the presence of a vegie! They sit/stand there dribbling with desire and fighting temptation!

Only three times a week. Probably more like every day here. Chickpeas, kidney beans, butter beans, I love them all.

Hows about two birds with one stone? We could eat the dead :sofa:

Gold top milk, butter and cream...Cornish of course......fresh whole meal bread, the occasional steak, plenty of fish (Cornish of course) and plenty of salads in summer is my diet of choice. Top up with plenty of fruit. All healthy stuff, right? But not exactly a vegan am I? However, I am a morish eater tempted by chocolates and the like too:noidea:

My 25 year old niece is a vegan......stunningly healthy because she has done her research. Not a whim but a life choice for her. She cooks delicious meals that embrace most all vitamins, minerals etc. It may well be the diet for the future. Being a vegan is a target for many at the moment who like to scoff......they include the fatty food, sweet eating, beer swilling, cigarette smoking brigade. However, who’s having the last laugh really?

Had to laugh at longk’s post.....cooking bacon in front of a vegan! The height of torture! :)

Laws can be changed, especially if it's good for the environment! Not too sure what price I'd put on 28 day matured longk fillet steak though :heehee:

@longk is an appropriate name on this subject. In the South Pacific islands they used to eat humans and called it 'long pig' :hate-shocked: (I'm a mine of useless information :heehee:)
