    Loved the photo of the pineapple field @HarryS, I sort of knew how they grew but I'd never seen pineapple en mass before. Not sure why but it made me smile:scratch:. Good luck roders keep us posted with the progress and most impressed @pete . Have you eaten it and if so was it tasty? certainly after 3 years of TLC it ought to have been:).

      I ate it about 12yrs ago :biggrin:
      It was very sweet and better than the ones you buy, as is often the case with fruit that is allowed to fully ripen on the plant:smile:
