:lollol:I was thinking of a mass hitch hike, trowels & flower pots in the rucksacks, stopping along the highways of europe to glean fennel & sorrel & cook it all up a la Ray Mears. Pausing in the mountains to pick water cress & crayfish from mountain streams then one of us advises the alpine farmers on which cabbage to plant for next year while the others secretly pinch milk from his Bruni Alpini cows.

We then decend onto the plains of Northern Italy & indulge in the rich fishing and farming produce before realising we have no idea whatsoever where Puglia is :cnfs:

Faced with this dillema, the gardeners corner members surround and capture San Marino, thereby effectively time travelling back two hundred years to a time before the global market & suddenly find the peace we have all been craving.

    Just a thought.:yez:

OK Vicky it was you that "suggested" it was a vine.:thumb:
along with one or two others :)

I think the bit about the bird droppings is also part of your thinking, although how you tell that from the plant in the picture I'm not sure.:D
I noticed Puglia but I didn't know where it was, thought it was somewhere in Wales:wink:

Ziggy you should write novels, you are wasted here.
