ID this shrub please.

    Not mine, and the questioner says that it is not scented.

    Variegated leaves and pure white flowers. It is the lack of scent which has me puzzled.

    Hard to see but if not scented, presumably rules out Philadelphus. How about eucryphia? Though I think they tend to be more fastigiate

      Flowers look almost campanula like but cant really zoom in without it going blurred.

      The flowers indeed do look very campanula like, and the coverage of those flowers suggests they aren't even from the shrub!

      There are masses of flowers on one side, and hardly any on the other side. Given campanulas creeping habit could one have crept up one side of the shrub, giving the shrub the appearance that it is flowering?

        Been suggested as Philadelphus inodorus which is a real possibility.

          Accurate id depends often on clear close up pics to show the leaves and flowers.
          I cannot see any detail .
          Please can you add pics.
