I was wondering if any of you lovely people could help identify this plant which is growing under a shrub. This is the first summer we have been back in our house for 3 years (we were living abroad) I don’t recognise it. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance

Looks like a perennial sweet pea of some kind.

Agree with Pete. They are really rather nice plants. I grow quite a few through trees. They come in white, pale and dark pink and flower up here in Scotland at the end of July. They are a good cut flower and last quite well.
