    Could someone please identify these two plants for my cousin. They have appeared in his garden and he asked if I knew what they are, but I can't work them out.

    Do you know if the top one has a woody stem ? its difficult to make out it could be one of the conifer family , or maybe a Sedum rupestre angelina .

    Bottom one looks like a weed tree sapling Goat willow ( salix caprea )

    Thank you @Perki , The 1st one certainly looks like a woody stem. I thought it was a conifer or maybe a heather but not sure.
