Sorry that you have had hassle and it is not resolved yet. I thank my lucky stars that I actually knew a wonderful greenhouse builder before I needed to employ one. He erected a 20x8ft Rhino greenhouse for me single handed in ghastly weather about 8 years ago. It is still as solid as a rock and survived severe gales earlier this year when a massive Beech tree and top of a cedar did not!
If anybody needs a greenhouse building in Scotland or the North of England just get in touch with me and I will give you his contact details. Old school person, works really hard to a high standard and does not charge the earth either.

Trouble with a lot of folk is, they put down a base or expect the house to be exact. I have and always will allow for the base and a bit to ensure there is plenty of room for my houses. 8 x 8 allow for a bit more. Due to these being installed in metric, which would be 2.4m not 8 feet, I had put down a base of 2.6m to ensure it would sit right. One other thing is to allow to slope towards a door and drill holes along the door side so you can drain the house of excess water.
