Hi Kay by the path will be OK please make sure that there is a good space between each Rose and just as important a good 18 inches away from the paths edge so that when they are fully grown and in bloom they are not growing over the path;)

lol I hope my husband agrees

CRG all this time ive been wondering where you've gone off to and u was here all along :heehee: i rememebr you when ever i hear or read "Austin"

where would i find the Peter Beale rose selector?

It is well past my bed time and i just can't sleep :wallbanging: I love your idea Hannah of having a flower bed on the grass. I think a large circle on the left side with a small raised circle in the center. Right side where the blue plastic ball is i wish to plant a camellia (hopefully arrive next week) and leave the reast green for kids to play on. I want to do a square brick edging around the tree and use the same bricks for the flower bed. the camellia and another shrub (on the right which i dont know what its called and i had it cut down but not dug out, dont ask why ) i wanna place decorative rocks under them.

so far after seeing the pictures of your roses, i know what i want. I feel like its a drug which i need, i must have.

:wallbanging: How to talk hubby round. he hates plants and made it very clear hes not happy with the roses. I'm hoping once they grow and are in bloom he will come around. Now how do i tell him i want 11 more  :heehee:

Quick update. Bless my wiser Half, he's keeping an open mind so I won't go all the way. I'll leave the flower bed for now and only do either side of the path and the lawn

                      AAAGGGHHH :cry3:

everything seems like one big mess. Lawn needs top soil removed, levelled (as much as possible) raked, composted, raked, fertilised, raked and seeded. i tried to do it but got nowhere. the annoying hedges that were removed still have roots that go too deep in from all directs and i wanna plant my camellia :cry3: and i'm looking for a trustworthy builder to take down the wall between the kitchen and dinning room. A friend recommended her friend and when i asked him for details (how his name is spelt) and insurance he hangs up on me  I think i'm juggling too many things caz i have to give adam attention every 20-40 min due to potty traning. :cry3: wheres ben and jerry's when you need it, wheres a boxing bag when you need it :cry3:

I'd put on some weed and feed then fill in dips and seed. If u want a perfect lawn u might need to dig it all up and re turf but I'm sure it's not that bad!

                              Weed and feed?

Cameras not working, would given u close up

Well, Adams not well today so I'm parked in bed with him. Got comfort food on stand by. Just need to pop them in the oven.:hapfeet:I think that's what I was missing yesterday, cinnamon rolls.

Ok so got hold of the guy who I thought hung up on me and turns out he thought I hung up on him:heehee:. So trying to get that sorted for Sat. I hope it all goes well.

I'm gonna pay someone on Sat to remove top layer of soil and even the ground a little. I think I need more compost

What can I do withthe top layer that has been removed? Don't have compost bin...yet
