    Roundup for stump removal.
It may kill stump..but you still need to remove it.
You sound a young fit guy with plans.
Why not start to dig the stump out now.
    It is amazing what can be achieved...with a pick, an axe,a winch and b..... hard work! 09-Jul-10 10-07-52 AM.JPG 09-Jul-10 10-28-09 AM.JPG 09-Jul-10 10-52-30 AM.JPG 09-Jul-10 10-53-10 AM.JPG 09-Jul-10 12-11-59 PM.JPG 24-Jul-10 4-00-42 PM.JPG 24-Jul-10 4-22-16 PM.JPG 24-Jul-10 11-14-39 AM.JPG

He he! ..not me..my other half...on his own.
It was 10 years ago...too old to do it now.
But try to stay fit and active.

When we bought the place in South Wales it had a small wood..Alder trees.
We were young, naive and stupid.
      Didn't realise trees grew. DUH!
From young saplings and masses of space and light we had monster trees far too close together...dark and dry underneath.
Not easy to fell safely....we used a wonderful tree surgeon.
No damage ever to all precious plants underneath.
Getting stumps out was another story.

      That winch was just fantastic.
