    A golfing pal moved house a few months ago. He inherited a greenhouse. He's not normally a gardener.
    But everything he's tried to grow in it has died. He also plays bowls. He spoke the other day to one of the elderly guys at the bowling club who's a keen gardener. The guy offered to come round and check out his greenhouse. He came round last week-end.

    " I can see your problem, it's 120f in there. You might want to open the door and the windows and get some shading!"

      Yes, greenhouses do get hot. I have personally boiled petunias in a blowaway one, their pots were steaming and hot to touch. It would be great to be able to tell how they thrived with the boiling method, producing incredible technicolour blooms until Christmas, but sadly that wasn't quite the case. :redface: :snorky:
