I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if they were haggis hunters, that means they were wealthy southern city slickers.

Everyone knows that the Scots never hunted haggis. They know better than that. They know that you just have to sit on the side of a mountain with a kids fishing net, and wait for the haggis. Haggis can only go anticlockwise round the mountain due to their mismatched legs, so even if they see the net, they can't go round it or back track.
