Don't know if this is the correct area, so please accept my appologies if its not.
I have a kumquat in the polytunnel which has developed a mould on some of the leaves, any thoughts any one. What can I do to cure it, and stop it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349953969.728234.jpg

Looks like 'sooty mould' which is caused by aphids and insects that suck the sap from the leaves and then excretes honeydew onto the leaves which the mould forms on. The top and bottom of the leaves can be washed with an insectical solution.

I also think it is some kind of parasite.

PS Grannie Annie did you just take up the new nick or is it just me going mad (I remember a different nickname)?
